Sebastian Strobl (*1990) lives and works in South Germany. In 2019 he graduated with honours in Architecture from Klasse Baumschlager at Akademie der Bildenden Künste München. Currently studying Arts in the class of Gerry Bibby, Strobl is a teacher for the Architecture Chair of Prof. Erich Prödl at Ostbayerische Technische Hochschule Regensburg.
In times of continual overstimulation, Sebastian Strobl manipulates the acoustic and visual noise, superimposes it, directs it, and fades it out. Materials like emptiness and time are implemented in the given context. People and space enter into a dialogue. This creates interventions that offer the opportunity to reflect on and reassess our relationship to the things that surround us.
